Makerere University School of Public Health Centers for Disease Control HIV/AIDS Fellowship Program
The Makerere University School of Public Health Centers for Disease Control (MUSPH-CDC) HIV/AIDS Fellowship Program is an accredited certificate program facilitated by the University of Makerere. The course will provide participants with skills and working tools to build capacity for high quality HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and support services in Uganda. Participants learn communication skills, processes, and techniques required for data management and grant and proposal writing, as well as how to design, manage, monitor, and evaluate HIV programs to strengthen the capacity of HIV/AIDS agencies engaged with prevention, care, treatment, and support services. Hands-on training engages participants in the development of behavior change communication (BCC) activities premised on HIV/AIDS intervention, prevention, and the communication of health rights. Eligible candidates will hold at least a Masters degree and have experience with or be interested in the professional management of HIV/AIDS programs. Participants will be awarded a certificate of achievement upon successful completion of the course.
