India Communication Update

This update is produced monthly by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) India in consultation with polio partners and is circulated by email as a PDF document. Its purpose is to provide stakeholders with a concise update on strategic developments in the communication effort for polio eradication in India, in response to the fast evolving epidemiological situation in the country.

This publication provides a look at overall epidemiological and immunisation coverage trends in India, as well as detailing secondary immunisation strategies and activities. Issues often also focus on progress and planned activities in specific high-risk states and areas. Research and public engagement initiatives are also outlined regularly, as are advisory group meetings and outcomes.
